We try and hold onto all the fleeing moments
The way the snow bends when it falls
We picture the glass ornaments,
the ones we saved from our youth tucked in boxes,
building towards a holiday.

The decorations poised,
the engulfing of joy,
the little fires lined in sequence,
the harsh sentences,
the windows turned sentient,
we look out to forget what’s within,
the Venetian twins,
the flooding of our love and the wherewithal to rebuild,
the survival is apart,
they remind you too restart,
the engine takes off.

The little things like tiny wings and pretty please,
the stress in the means,
the test taking binge,
the hopeless twinge and the spoiled tang,
we mean what we say
the fortitude that we displace,
shift in the decay,
sift through the blame,
I guess it was easier then the stay,

the minor vacations
the way my back takes abrasions
the people with their faces
we all tie the laces
we all stop at stations
we wait until we see the one way ticket to your serenity,
most pay for the amenities,
the branding of a lie,
we spin till the surprise,
sunlight young
might slung right,

fortified in the preparedness
we summarize how we are managing to get to it
the moment of bandages
the red scribbles error messages
I clear it out once a day
the mighty once fallen
been a few cycles
decipher the disciples

we rob the intellectual property
watermark are name in debt
realize the lonesomeness reflecting from our steps
we trudge forward because we realize the theory in exploring
The maps in storage
The edging on a border
